A few weeks ago, I posted six trends threatening people with disabilities and how we might respond relationally and communally. Since then, federal policy debates and broader societal shifts have continued, making life precarious for people with disabilities.
This follow-up isn’t a policy update. It’s an invitation to think adaptively. Drawing from Do For One’s approach, it calls on people with disabilities and their allies to work together to make proactive, wise choices—especially now, as formal systems grow increasingly unstable and impersonal.
